Weight loss and metabolic optimization

Most weight loss programs are built to make the scale move and nothing else. That approach costs you muscle, and muscle is what protects your metabolism, your strength and your results once the medication stops. Care here pairs appetite and blood sugar support with protein and resistance training targets, body composition tracking, and the hormone and thyroid picture underneath it all.

Overview

How care works here

Everyone starts the same way: a 99 dollar consult that runs a full 60 minutes, by video, with Brittney Diffiné, PA-C. That visit is history and questions. Testing is ordered afterward so the panel is chosen for your situation rather than run in advance and interpreted later.

From there you get a plan you can read and understand, with the reasoning behind it, and scheduled follow up so it is adjusted on results rather than left running.

Who this is for

This may be a fit if

  • Weight that will not move despite consistent training and honest nutrition
  • Athletes and active people who want fat loss without losing strength
  • Stubborn weight through the midsection, or a metabolism that feels slower than it was
  • Blood sugar swings, cravings and appetite that feel out of your control
  • Thyroid or hormone symptoms sitting underneath a weight problem
  • Perimenopausal, menopausal or postpartum metabolic changes

What is included

In your program

  • A 60 minute first visit

Symptoms, training, nutrition, sleep, history and goals, with the clinician who will treat you.

  • Testing chosen for you

Metabolic, thyroid and hormone markers selected from your consult rather than a fixed panel.

  • Medication when it fits

GLP1 and dual agonist options are used when they are the right tool for your situation, and not as the whole plan.

  • Muscle retention targets

Protein intake and resistance training targets set alongside the medication, because losing weight and losing muscle are not the same outcome.

  • Body composition tracking

Progress measured by what the weight is made of rather than by the scale number alone.

  • Ongoing 1:1 adjustment

Regular follow up to adjust dosing, nutrition and training as your body responds.

What to expect

Common timelines

2 to 4 weeks

Questions

Before you book

How is this different from an online GLP1 subscription?

A subscription sends you a medication. This is clinical care built around it. That means a full hour with a licensed clinician, lab work covering thyroid and hormones as well as metabolic markers, protein and training targets set so you keep muscle while you lose fat, and a plan for what happens when you come off the medication. If price is the only thing that matters to you, there are cheaper options. If keeping your strength matters, this is the version built for that.

Do I have to take medication?

No. Medication is one option among several and it is used when it is the right fit for your labs, your history and your goals. Plenty of plans here are built on nutrition, training, sleep and correcting a thyroid or hormone issue instead.

What do the medications cost?

Medication costs are separate from program fees and are paid directly to the pharmacy. Pricing depends on the medication and the pharmacy, and the numbers are discussed with you before anything is prescribed.

What happens when I stop the medication?

That question is part of the plan from the first visit. Holding results depends on the muscle you kept, the eating patterns you built and whether the hormone and thyroid picture underneath was addressed, which is why all three are part of the program rather than an afterthought.

Do I need labs before I book?

No. Book the consult first. Recent lab work is useful if you have it, and testing is ordered afterward so the panel matches your situation.
