Men's hormone and metabolic care
Testosterone replacement therapy
Testosterone shapes energy, training capacity, body composition, mood and drive, and it can decline well before midlife. Care here starts with a full picture rather than a single number. We look at testosterone alongside thyroid, metabolic markers, cortisol patterns and cardiovascular markers, then build a plan around your labs, your symptoms and how you actually train and live.

Overview
How care works here
Everyone starts the same way: a 99 dollar consult that runs a full 60 minutes, by video, with Brittney Diffiné, PA-C. That visit is history and questions. Testing is ordered afterward so the panel is chosen for your situation rather than run in advance and interpreted later.
From there you get a plan you can read and understand, with the reasoning behind it, and scheduled follow up so it is adjusted on results rather than left running.
Who this is for
This may be a fit if
- Low energy, flat motivation, or a sense of running on empty
- Strength or muscle mass that has stalled or slipped despite consistent training
- Weight settling around the midsection with a slower metabolism
- Declining libido or changes in erectile function
- Irritability, mood shifts, or brain fog
- Poor recovery between training sessions
What is included
In your program
A 60 minute first visit
A full hour with the clinician who will treat you, going through symptoms, training history, health history and goals.
Targeted lab work
Testing chosen from your consult rather than a standard panel, covering hormones and the metabolic and cardiovascular markers that sit around them.
A dosing plan built for you
Route, dose and schedule selected for your biology, your labs and what you want out of the next year.
Structured monitoring
Scheduled follow up labs and check ins so therapy is adjusted on evidence rather than on how a given week felt.
Fertility conversation up front
Testosterone therapy can suppress fertility. If that matters to you, we discuss it and the alternatives before anything is prescribed.
The rest of the picture
Sleep, nutrition, training load and stress physiology, because hormone therapy on its own rarely does the whole job.
What to expect
Common timelines
- 2 to 4 weeks
- Energy, mood and sleep are often the first things to shift.
- 6 to 12 weeks
- Libido, training performance and body composition changes.
- 12 weeks and beyond
- Metabolic markers and durable strength gains.
Individual results vary. These are common patterns, not a promise of outcome.
Questions
Before you book
How is therapy monitored once I start?
Testosterone is a controlled substance and it changes several systems at once, so monitoring is part of the plan rather than an optional extra. Expect follow up lab work at set intervals covering hormone levels, blood counts, prostate markers where appropriate, and metabolic and cardiovascular markers, along with scheduled visits to review symptoms and adjust dosing. If therapy is not doing what it should, or the labs move in a direction we do not want, we change course.
What should I know before starting?
Testosterone therapy carries risks as well as benefits, and its labeling includes cardiovascular and dependence warnings. It affects fertility, blood counts and cardiovascular markers, and it is generally a long term commitment rather than a short course. All of that is covered in your consult so you can make the decision with the full picture, and therapy is only started when it is clinically appropriate for you.
Do I need labs before I book?
No. Book the consult first. If you have recent lab work, bring it. If you do not, testing is ordered after we have talked, so the panel is chosen for your situation instead of run in advance and interpreted later.
Is this available outside California?
Not currently. Emerald Precision Health is licensed in California, so care is limited to California residents.
Will I still be able to train hard on therapy?
Training is part of the plan, not something worked around. Programs here are built for people who lift, run or compete, and recovery, body composition and performance markers are tracked alongside the hormone numbers.
